Dr. Covington began her consulting company as an internal medicine resident. She quickly discovered an overwhelming need for physician consultants and realized that many companies wanted physician input but had a hard time figuring out how to get it. When asked if consulting is a stretch from her clinical duties, she responds, “of course not, physicians consult daily with patients and we are insightful, knowledgeable, and honest; a remarkable asset to any company or project”.
